Residents Only is all about stylish, functional, and eco-friendly pieces. Gabriella's low-production impact philosophy means no plastic or paint is used, and she sources materials locally in Paris to reduce shipping emissions. She also uses recuperated leather from La Reserve Des Arts, a Parisian creative association helping designers to incorporate the reuse of materials and eco-design in their production processes.
LaidBack Towels: Dry Off with a Perfect Blend of Design and Functionality
In Puerto Rico, where beaches and nature rule, a good towel is essential. While searching for the perfect beach towel, I had the fortune of meeting Adalberto Torres, the owner, and designer of LaidBack, a company dedicated to creating beach towels inspired by the culture and beauty of Puerto Rico.
Finding Fortune: Discovering the difference between a vision and a plan.
In 2017, I embarked on bringing Fortune Emporium to life with a vision and a plan. The vision was to create a space celebrating the entrepreneurial and creative spirit of small businesses, fostering a community through art, music, and design. The plan involved opening a retail and workshop space that would inspire others to find their creative path.
